Made for getting out there

Long roads. Changing weather. Early starts. Quiet campsites. Wet gear. Cooler nights. The freedom to stop, stay longer, or take the road that was not part of the plan.

Get Lost campervans are built for that kind of travel — modern, practical, easy to live with, and ready to make the road feel simple from the start.

New Zealand’s Most Modern Campervan Fleet. Fully Off-grid. Diesel heating. Flexible pick-up and drop-off. Competitive pricing. And a team that has your back from the first booking to the final return.

The important things, done properly.

A campervan trip should feel easy to begin, comfortable to live in, and simple to trust.

That is where Get Lost puts its energy: into modern vans, practical features, flexible systems, and the details that make the journey feel better from day one.

Brand new vans

Our vans are modern and fresh, with the fleet staying under three years old.
That means a more dependable, better-presented vehicle for the road ahead, helping you feel safer, more comfortable, and more confident from the moment you pick up the keys.
Modern vehicles can also offer better efficiency than older vans, helping reduce unnecessary fuel use and emissions.

Diesel heating

New Zealand weather is part of the adventure, but comfort still matters. A built-in diesel heater helps keep the van warm and liveable when the temperature drops — whether you are travelling outside peak summer, parked near the coast, waking in the hills, or chasing the cooler edges of the country.

24/7 pick-up and drop-off

Travel does not always happen between office hours.
With full insurance, Get Lost offers 24/7 self-service pick-up and drop-off, with your van ready on site and keys available through a secure lockbox. It is designed to feel more like picking up a car: simple, flexible, and easy to fit around flights, delays, early starts, and late returns.
For standard insurance bookings, pick-up and drop-off are handled through a concierge service between 9am and 4pm. This includes airport transfer and a full handover, the concierge service is $100 each way.

Smart simplicity

We keep things focused.
One campervan model. Smart online systems. Efficient check-in and drop-off. Less unnecessary overhead. More attention on the things that matter: the van, the road, and the people travelling in it.
That is how Get Lost offers a quality campervan experience at a competitive price.

More of what matters. Less of what doesn't.

Get Lost is built around a simple idea: put the value where you actually feel it.

New vans.

Simple systems.

Extras that matter.

These are the things that make a real difference on the road:

  • A modern van you can trust
  • Heating for cooler days and nights
  • A warm, practical setup
  • A simple booking and handover process
  • Flexible pick-up and drop-off with full insurance
  • Clear information before you travel
  • Support from start to finish
  • Competitive pricing without cutting corners where it counts

The right kind of van for the long way round.

A good campervan should not take over the trip. It should make the trip easier to enjoy.
That means enough comfort to settle in, enough capability to feel confident, and enough simplicity that you are not learning a whole new system every time you stop for the night.
Our vans are selected for real New Zealand travel: compact enough to navigate New Zealand roads and park for city stops, practical enough for longer journeys, and comfortable enough to enjoy the rough edges.

The best stops are not always powered campsites.

Get Lost vans are set up with solar power, a lithium battery, water tanks, cooking gear, toilet, and smart onboard systems to allow you to go fully off-grid.

The solar setup helps keep the essentials charged while you travel. If the van is parked up and stationary in colder conditions, practical off-grid time will depend on use, weather, and power needs.

Ready before the road begins.

Good travel feels easier when the basics are understood.

Before you pick up the keys, we make sure the important things are clear — from insurance and pick-up to driving in New Zealand and what to bring.
